It’s that time of the year again and we’re about to enter a new year.
2018 has been an interesting year and through the good and the bad, I managed to have an amazing time.
In 2018, I made a change in my career and got a new job as a commissioning editor, a profession I’ve come to really like.
I spent the longest time away from Stockholm and didn’t go home for eight months. I know it might not sound like a long time for some but it felt like a lifetime for me. After all, I’m only two hours away.
I traveled the most I’ve ever done in my life and realised once again just how happy traveling makes me. I ended up going on seven trips this year, including China which was a big deal to me as it was my first time visiting Asia.
My siblings and I went on our first sibling trip and ended up in Beijing for a week. It was so amazing, we decided to make this a yearly goal to come together and explore a city regardless of where it’s located. I can’t wait to see where we’ll end up next year!
I decided to be more serious with my YouTube channel and released a few videos including my most watched video about Havana that I was hoping people would like. My little video is almost at 24,000 page views. Crazy!
I went on my first solo travel to Paris which was so amazing that I’m really looking forward to next year’s travels. While I’ve been to Paris on multiple occasions, this was my first being in the city on my own allowing me to rediscover the city of light.
As we’re counting down the hours until we enter 2019,I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you that’s taken your time to read my blog posts or watch my videos on YouTube.
May your 2019 be filled with love, joy and great trips around the world.
Happy New Year!
